Setup: This drill set requires a room where you can create a close target, 90 degree swing, then a close target, then a 90 swing, and then another close target. Total of 180 degrees of swing.
Drills: The following are target transition drills. The start position will alternate. It is important to minimize foot movement during these drills and to see your sights clearly on the targets.
ï² Start facing any direction desired with your hands at your sides. Engage each target with 2 rounds. Establish your PAR time. Do not rush; just get an idea of what your PAR time actually is. Once you have determined that PAR time, you can continue with the drills.
ï² Perform 10 repetitions at the PAR time that you have established.
ï² Start facing the target on the left and perform 10 repetitions.
ï² Start facing straight up range and perform 10 repetitions.
ï² Start facing any target desired. Engage each target with 2 rounds. After your first shot, and before your last shot, you must execute a reload. Adjust your PAR time as follows: Beginner: add 1.2 seconds, Intermediate: add .8 seconds, Advanced: add .5 seconds. Perform 10 repetitions.
